The V.G.P.& co rewarded Shri S.GopalaKrishnan in the year 1994
The then Finanace Minister Mr.V.Neduchezhiyan presented the award

This award was given twice in succession in 1994 & 1995
the awards were sponsered by the city cultural academy were presented in the function held in Mangal Mahal Trichy

On 13th january 1996 at Tamil Sangam, Shri S.GopalaKrishnan was given the title PATHPAGA GNANA BHANU by his holiness Sri-la-sri Madurai Adheenam, Sri Guru Mahasannidhanam for bringing out the Tri-Lingual Duictionary the very first of its kind in India.

Shri S.Gopalakrishnan recieved an award from Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal with the title confered as HINDI PRACHARA MAMANI this honour was given as a mark of appreciation for the remarkable publication "Tri-Lingual Dictionary"

on 31st December 1999 the agasthiar Publications was given SEVA RATNA AWARD for their excellent service in the field of publication by "The Centenarian Trust,chennai"

Agasthiar Publications was awarded for Excellence in Publishing in the year 2000 by the federation of Indian Publishers, New Delhi.

They have been awarded with "UGADI PURASHKAR" on 18th MArch 2001 by the Madras Telugu Academy in a grand gala function at the Music Academy Hall, Chennai. The award was delivered by the then Governer of Andhra Pradhesh, Mr. C.Rengarajan.

BAPASI awarded Agasthiar Publication as the Best Book Seller at The Chennai Book Fair 2007. The award was delivered by The Cheif Minister Of TamilNadu, Dr. Kalignar M. Karunanidhi.

By the Grace of God and with the tributes and encourangemnt of well-wishers and with the ever - increasing patronage of their customers, the Agasthiars is marching beyond its Diamond Jubilee.
